Yamaha reveal 2018 MT-07 price

Since its introduction in 2014 the MT-07 is Yamaha’s best-selling motorcycle. The exciting, versatile and affordable MT-07 has become Europe’s definitive sports middleweight, and the new 2018 model offers an even more refined, attractive and exciting package.

The new MT-07 comes with a range of improvements that build on the strengths of this best selling middleweight naked, while also enhancing its style, finish and comfort – as well as underling its excellent value.

Restyled Body

The 2018 model’s more mature restyled body design takes its cue from the larger capacity MTs, and features a restyled tank with bigger air scoops that give a more dynamic look – and a bolder headlight design gives a more imposing face. The new model also benefits from an enhanced finish to the new bodywork, underlining the 2018 MT-07’s outstanding value for money.

Improved Riding Position

A key feature for 2018 is the improved riding position that delivers increased riding comfort, and the revised ergonomics are also designed to accommodate riders of varying sizes.

Refined Suspension

Revised front fork settings offer 130mm of plush and predictable suspension action with a more sporty character, and a new rebound damping adjuster on the rear shock makes it easy to set the MT-07 up to suit different riding conditions.

Deep and Linear Torque

Developed using Yamaha’s unique crossplane philosophy, 689cc 2-cylinder engine is equipped with a 270-degree crank that contributes towards its deep and linear torque output that gives thrilling acceleration and sporty performance.

Compact and Lightweight Chassis

The MT-07’s compact chassis and slim tubular backbone frame – combined with a centralized mass and dry weight of just 164kg – ensure agile handling and easy manoeuvrability.

35kW version

Recognizing that the MT-07 appeals to a wide range of riders with varying levels of experience, Yamaha will continue to offer the 2018 model as both full power and also 35kW versions, making the MT lifestyle accessible to everyone.

Retail Price

The new MT-07 will be available in Night Fluo, Yamaha Blue and Tech Black from late March 2018. The price varies per country, please contact your local press officer for specific information.
