Dirtfreak has released the “Aluminum Throttle Tube with Kashima Coating” from its ZETA product line. It is a product suitable for various models.

It can be used for many off-road models of the four Japanese motorcycle brands: Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki and Kawasaki.

This new ZETA aluminum throttle tube has Kashima coating on top. It is a treatment developed by Miyaki Corporation in which lubricating anodizing (hard anodizing) film is combined with the molybdenum disulfide.

The new aluminum throttle tube adopts ZETA’s original floating system to make its movement lighter. And by having the Kashima coating on top, it has become even more wear resistant to support the rider’s acceleration control. By having the lubrication of the Kashima coating, the inner side of the throttle tube does not require extra oil or grease, and can be used in a dry condition.

Since the movement of the throttle becomes lighter, the rider’s load of acceleration becomes less. They also have a replacement bar end plug with Kashima coating too. It’s good to know that the lubrication performance will not wear out even if the inner surface gets abrased, as long as the surface still has its Kashima coating left.
