SR75 World Team Suzuki dominated the third round of the 2018 Power Maxed Arenacross Tour at The Genting Arena in Birmingham, UK on Saturday evening as reigning champion Thomas Ramette took victory aboard his RM-Z450 Suzuki ahead of team-mate Cyrille Coulon.

Finishing fourth and fifth respectively in qualifying, the Final saw both riders getting a great jump from the start with Ramette taking the Holeshot ahead of Coulon. Both riders put-in fast and calculated laps with a significant gap to the rest of the field, crossing the line in first and second positions.

Thomas Ramette

“Tonight has been surreal. I have had great speed all Tour and tonight I felt controlled and it felt cool to race this track. I needed to get back into the championship after last week and we worked as always to make things perfect. My SR75 Suzuki RM-Z450 was amazing and I am loving every lap we ride. It is great to go 1-2 again with Cyrille and of course it is great to get this win in front of the fantastic fans here in Birmingham. This place never fails to provide a great track and atmosphere. Thanks, as always, to our team partners, the team crew and of course everyone who supports us.”

Cyrille Coulon

“Tonight I am happy with my team-mate on the podium. We race good tonight and I feel good on my race bike. My start was good and this new bike is amazing. I feel comfortable and I know I have a good feeling in the race. Everyone works hard in this team all years I’ve been a part of it, so it is cool for my Team when we have a great night and great final. Thanks SR75 Suzuki and all our team sponsors, supporters and all our fans.”

Geoff Walker – Team Principal

“Wow. That was an intense night. These guys never fail to amaze me in their work ethic and ultimate focus. My respect for them still somehow grows after all the years we have worked together… literally every day. It was great to see the guys work their race bikes like this as we work so hard to create these already fantastic Suzuki bikes and develop them personally so our guys feel completely at one with their machines. I cannot stress how proud I am of everyone involved in what we do. Our support structure is small and we work to maximise every department and remain strong during the ups-and-downs of our sport all year long. Thanks to our riders, our crew, our team partners, plus the event crew for giving us a great track to showcase how cool this sport is.”
