Takegawa Speed Sensor

I am using a Takegawa Super Multi DN Meter on my KSR110. At some point, while other functions were working normally, a problem occurred where the speed display stopped working, causing the odometer to stop functioning as well. Initially, I suspected a broken speed cable, but after inspection at a bike shop I frequently visit, the diagnosis was that the issue was with the speed sensor. However, it was not easy to locate the specific part in question. After checking through WeBike, I was able to identify the part number, and fortunately, it was in stock, so I was able to purchase it immediately. Since this product is currently discontinued, checking stock availability is crucial. Although it is an older model, brands like Takegawa often supply parts on a piece-by-piece basis, which offers advantages in terms of maintenance. Inquiries to WeBike often resolve issues regarding hard-to-find parts. After the replacement, the speed display is working normally, and I am using it with satisfaction. View detail

About quality and texture: this item feels very well made, with good finishing and the Takegawa logo. About the feeling of use: excellent fit to the bike. While it will protect the headlight from large objects it will not help with smaller stones etc. Products to buy together: Takegawa headlight bracket!
