In the racing scene, we have heard many opinions that SC59 (08 and later models) is difficult to ride because of the sudden power output although the engine runs hard. In order to solve this problem, we changed the collecting method from 180 degree collecting method (4-2-1 method which assembles 1-2, 3-4 of exhaust pipes) to 360 degree collecting method (4-2-1 method which assembles 1-4, 2-3 of exhaust pipes). In addition, all the bending processes are weld crafted in order to be able to freely fit inside the tight cowl. The weldcraft method is a piping method by welding in a circle, which is also used in recent Moto-GP machines. Another advantage is that the pipe is not crushed.
