1) To provide the weight when the pulley is rotating at high speed to balance the pulley system, this is to allow the automatic transmission to work normally.
Pulley weight roller rotate against the pulley and it will wear out over time. For replacement purpose, these pulley roller have the properties of high temperature resistance, low friction coefficient and low wear rate. Higly recommend upgrading the roller before engaging in any performance upgrade.
