Started marketing YZ 400 F in 1998 as a replica model of the factory machine YZM 400 F that appeared in the previous year.Since then, it has been a model that has given great influence to the market as a forerunner of the 4th motocrosser.In the 2008 model celebrating the 10th anniversary, we reviewed the port shape and valve timing on the intake side to improve the torque characteristics in the low and medium speed range, and newly designed a silencer to meet new race regulations.By reducing the clearance with the cylinder by improving the machining accuracy of the piston, reduction of vibration and mechanical noise is also planned.For car body, we modified the head pipe section of the frame into a 5 mm sheet and modified the under bracket of the steering stem to a newly designed H-shaped cross section, modifying around the head.Coupled with the front brake that was designed to reduce the weight and specifications of the front and rear suspension, further refinement was applied to light handling characteristics.
