Published standard mounting parts information. Base model of all racing specifications

Honda Racing (HRC) has released information about “CBR 250 RR race based model” and announced that it will be supplied to HRC service shops of japan from late May.

Unnecessary parts (head lights, stop lamps, etc.) are removed in case of “CBR 250 RR race based model”, and ECU and harnesses are exchanged to racing exclusive parts. The Throttle-By-Wire (TBW) is also exchanged as a race specification.

It also has handshifters, pit lane speed control switches and mode changeover switches. It is finished in a full-fledged race based model.

Each service shop’s own machine will be sold.

Based on this race based model, each service shop incorporates parts (cowl, silencer, Rear sets etc.) necessary for racing that independently develops, and releases it as a completed vehicle.

Standard mounting parts of “CBR250RR race based model”

(1) For the left handlebar, as with the CBR250R Race Base Model, equipped with hand shifter, mode changeover switch, pit lane speed control switch.Also equipped with a mode changeover switch of throttle by wire (TBW) for the first time among the class.
(2) Lap time can be measured (The same equipment with Road Models)
(3) Equipped with the lean angle sensor for race in the exclusive cowl bracket
(4) The exclusive ECU is compatible with the setting tool in addition to the mapping for racing.
