This August, SHOEI will add a limited make-to-order graphic model, “CAPACITOR”, to its off-road helmet “VFX-W” series that have been fascinating the motocross riders.
The VFX-W helmets are made of complex laminate layers formed by a tough glass fiber, an organic fabric in 3D figure, and a high performance organic fiber that is highly elastic. It is a superior shell structure that excels in elastic rigidity while being so light.
It will come in two colors: TC-2 (BLUE/BLACK) and TC-3 (YELLOW/RED). The unique graphic line pattern stretches out from its nose cover to the rear of the helmet in a stroboscopic design. The bright yellow color, almost fluorescent, of the TC-3 (YELLOW/RED) model especially attracts attention.
