KAWASAKI will be releasing overseas model, New Ninja 650. The light and compact body is mounted with parallel 2 cylinder engine.
The retail price of the vehicle is not yet determined.
First Full Modification in 5 Years Since 2012
The Ninja 650 was revealed at INTERMOT that was held from Wednesday 5th October for five days in Cologne Germany. It is the first full modification in 5 years since 2012.
The newly designed frame and swing arm have greatly reduced curb weight. The ABS model is 18 kilograms lighter and standard model is 19kg lighter compared to the former model.
The seat has been lowered more than 15mm and engine meets Euro 4 regulations. Throttle diameter has been modified from Φ38mm to Φ36mm and 750mm exhaust pipe and Φ33mm tail pipe have improved due to extended torque.

The Ninja 650 is well balanced and offers exciting performance. The extremely light compact chassis is equipped with 650cc parallel engine focused to offer high performance at low to medium rpm.
