YAMAHA has announced that they will be releasing XMAX300 for the European market in March 2017. The new model combines features that offer excitement and convenience.
The XMAX300 is a revised model of the current European XMAX250 model and will be manufactured by YIMM(PT. Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing), one of YAMAHA’s group companies located in Indonesia. The new model will be released not only in Europe but around the world.
The demand for 126～300cc scooters in Europe is approximately 90,000 units (YAMAHA Research) and the number is expected to stay stable since scooters are mainly used for commute.
XMAX250 has had continuous high reputation in the European market for its style and performance, though XMAX300 has been newly developed to correspond to the to the recent popularity of 300cc models.
Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price in Europe is 5,499EUR.
Combining Convenience and Excitement
The XMAX300 was designed based on the concept ”MAXimize, commuting FUNction” and combines features that offer both excitement and convenience as a global model.
The boomerang shape and two eyed headlight has been adopted from the MAX series and mounted on together with X shaped face and tail that feature special texture and fine finish.

1. Equipped with newly designed liquid-cooling BLUE CORE engine to offer top class acceleration performance compared with models in the same category.
2. Features 179kg light weight body and motorcycle style telescopic front fork that support active performance.
3. Equipped with ABS, TCS (Traction Control System) to offer comfortable driving.
4. 2 helmets can be stored in the luggage space under the seat.
5. Engine can be started with a smart key without using the key.
6. Designs adopted from the original MAX series are combined with newly developed XMAX designs.
