TRIUMPH Motorcycle Japan revealed fully modified liquid-cooled “STREET SCRAMBLER” from their Bonneville Collection on 8th November at the EICMA show that was held at Milan Italy.
The new Street Scrambler features firm beauty developed by original functions and details. It has evolved to be the one and only to win that position on the road.
The new Street Scrambler and Street Cup bolster the image that the Street Twin is an exciting and easy to handle series in the Bonneville family.
The performance and style of the Triumph Scrambler has been evolved to offer more attraction.
New Qualities and Enhanced Performance
The new Street Scrambler features special chassis that offers riding position with good view, long rear shock, wider handlebar, 19 inch front wheel, Metzeler Tourance Dual Purpose Tires and highly specified brakes.
It is also equipped with evolved engine, exhaust and rider friendly technology. It will offer performance and superb riding experiences that exceed the former Scrambler.
The Street Scrambler is mounted with 900cc Bonneville high torque engine that has high reputation and offers greatly enhanced torque output between low to medium rpm.
It is perfect for city transportation and casual off-road rides. The 900cc engine offers 270 degrees combustion intervals which possesses great charisma. In terms of 5 speed transmission and smooth linear power, it has greatly evolved from the original Bonneville platform engine.
The throttle response enhanced by Triumph’s ride by wire fuel injection and the latest liquid cooling system that incorporates with Street Scrambler style allows reduction of exhaust and significant improvement in fuel economy and also offers excellent controllability, high reputation and smooth and skillful rides.
Furthermore maintenance cost has dramatically reduced due to 16,000km extended maintenance time.
The compact new Scrambler is equipped with exquisite stainless steel twin exhaust.
Maintaining orthodox Scrambler style the new Scrambler presents a unique sound. The unique matte stainless steel exhaust features fine head pipe that smartly unifies with the “Cat Box” and stylish black heat shield.
