My riding history is quite long, but I have never used an intercom on a touring

This is hybrid intercom called “BTX PRO”
Midland is an Italian manufacturer and has been making business radio for over 40 years.
It’ very common founction nowadays, but it is the first company that enabled pairing with any manufacturer’s products.
It is a manufacturer with pure technology.
So, it is a brand that I would like to recommend to those who have never used before.
Person like me.

I heard that intercom has two basic functions, but what can you actually do?
First, you can listen to music and navigation guide by connecting with a cell phone with Bluetooth.
Second, more importantly, you can connect with other intercom and communicate while riding a motorcycle.

There are several kinds of this BTX PRO series, but what is different?
OK, the one that’s attached to the helmet here is “BT-X1-PRO”
It is the cheapest entry model.
Two person can talk at the same time with distance upto 300meters
Next, this “BT-X2-PRO”

Four person can talk at the same time with distance upto 1,000meters
I would set this as a standard model.
Finally I will introduce “BT-NEXT-PRO”.
I am introducing the flagship model.
This product can talk up to 8 person at maximum and the communication distance is 1600 m.
It will be the most functional high end model.
Even with a touring of a large number of people, rider at the very front can even talk to the rider at the very end.
That’s right.
If I choose, I’d like to use X2-PRO that can be used by a single person and used for touring with my friends.
In addition to the two functions we have just introduced, there is a hybrid advanced intercom function that is more sophisticated.
By installing the application on the smartphone and using the Internet communication, you can talk with distance unlimited and even unlimited number of people.

Good point! You can actuall talk while listening to the music.
Additionally, you can share same music only with pillion rider.
So you can share your music with your passenger and when voice comes in then it switches into communication?
