For the first time in history, the pistons are machined from round forged AHS. It boasts unparalleled strength.
Features of AHS (Aluminium High Strength Alloy) (1) Strength = Equivalent to duralumin (A2017). (2) Resistance to dust and abrasion: The sliding characteristics of the piston material are much better than those of conventional piston materials (Lowex alloy JIS AC8A). (3) Thermal expansion coefficient = as low as that of Lowex alloy. (4) Reliability = The reliability of the parts is improved because the structure is uniformed by a special manufacturing method.
