■Selected materials
The Matris M46KF monoshock unit has a main cylinder made of nickel-coated alloy steel.
Other parts such as damper heads, pistons, preload adjuster nuts, and double nuts are made of lightweight, high-strength super duralumin 7075, which is machine-cut from solid wood to high precision, and then hard-anodized for high durability.
■Chrome Coating Piston Rod
Piston rod is chrome coated.
■Adjustment function
The damping adjustment is a 2-way mechanism of the extension side and the pressure side.
■Hydraulic preload adjuster
The M46KFP comes standard with an easy to adjust hydraulic preload adjuster.
■Nitrogen gas injection
To prevent cavitation caused by the violent movement of the piston rod, a free piston is placed inside the cylinder to maintain high pressure to prevent cavitation, high durability, and prevent setting errors.
■Springs
Single rate springs are used.
