This is a starter motor line reinforcement harness.
The 8 gauge power cable is made of high grade copper wire, which is very efficient.
The harness has a heat resistant coating and is suitable for line harnesses.
The harness is specially designed for rear battery vehicles.
It also reduces the load on the starter motor and reduces the loss in the line, so the starter rotation is improved.
With a 156cc displacement, the starter had to be replaced with a more powerful type due to the heaviness of the starter, but by reducing the harness loss in the line, the engine can be started without replacing the cell starter, depending on the compression ratio setting.
If going up to this higher displacement, you will need to replace the starter.
