The OAT glove is designed to be used not only as a traditional barbecue glove, but also for riders' camping in various locations.
The motivation for making this product came from the desire to find a good substitute for work gloves that would be suitable for riders' camping, to prevent injuries when carrying firewood or batoning, moving grills, and burns caused by hot skewers during a BBQ.
Traditionally, there have been standard outdoor gloves and BBQ gloves, but they were either derived from industrial welding gloves or simply appropriated from leather gloves.
They were standard in the outdoor scene, but a little far from the Kemeko ideal.
In addition, in the image of a rider's camp, a rugged glove would be out of place.
The OAT Glove combines the benefits of a tactical glove and a safety glove to create a glove that can be used for BBQs, tent and tarp setups, and even occasionally as a riding glove.
The palm of the hand is protected by three layers of KV (heat-resistant, flame-retardant, and stab-proof), high-strength polyethylene (high-elasticity, shock absorption, and stab-proof), and cowhide (heat-resistant and non-slip) of the U.S. DuPont company, which is famous as the wear material of F1 drivers.
In addition, the fingertips of the thumb and index finger are covered with a double layer of cowhide leather to accommodate movement of a grill or skewer.
Black KV outer shell provides protection for the entire glove.
The palm side (palm) is triple-protected with high-strength polyethylene with no seams between the cowhide and KV.*The key to heat resistance and durability is the thread that holds it in place, so naturally we use KV thread to sew it in place.
The palm of the hand is triple-layered with supple leather and high-strength tip material, and the wrist is held firmly in place with 30mm tape, so it won't shift or fall out in case of emergency.
