[Description]
ST-2M Camshaft was developed for Honda 125cc horizontal type engine.
(*1) Bolt-on type camshaft which has a higher lift than ST-1M.
Has a new polynominal profile so that it does not require replacement per valve.
Power and torque are focused on high RPM and acceleration to the speed limit.
(*2) You need to adjust the fuel to use it.

The custom cam profile arrangement
Yoshimura's custom cam profile was designed based on years of data obtained by the company.
Profile design starts with knowing the standard specifications of the engine.
The cam profile characteristics are determined based on the assumption of engine speed and the characteristics of the machine to be used.
Furthermore, the characteristics and profile numbers are determined.
Yoshimura built a prototype camshaft. with a complete profile and attach it directly to the machine to know its true performance.
Check whether the actual characteristics as expected are achieved.
Yoshimura also paid attention to the camshaft material.
Yoshimura believed that increased heat would damage distortion, deformation, and strength of the camshaft itself.
Then, in order for the camshaft to fit the engine, Yoshimura chose the most suitable heat setting.
