[Description]
Since the 20- CBR250RR has completely different specs from the previous model in terms of engine power, WR'S is newly designed for the 20- CBR250RR, including the silencer structure.
The SS-OVAL SHORT_LINE Full Exhaust is a "down and short" style full exhaust that is different from the stock full exhaust and is a popular product from the previous model because of its unique style as well as its more than enough performance.
The jerky engine braking at normal speed has been alleviated, and there is no jerky feeling when the accelerator is turned back at low speed.
From the start, CBR250RR will give you a smooth start and strong acceleration that will show off its performance to the fullest.
The sound quality is finished with a heavy bass and wild sound quality, reminiscent of the racing scene, but as a JMCA certified exhaust, the volume is clear.
This is an exhaust that you can enjoy the wild sound quality without worry.
The stock exhaust of 20- CBR250RR was changed from having 2 catalytic converters to having 1 catalytic converters, and since the performance and characteristics of the engine differ greatly with the exhaust, WR'S developed a special design exhaust.
During the development of the Slip-On, the upper limit of the power-up was repeatedly tested on the bench, and WR's felt that the limit of the power-up was "no more".
At that time, WR's couldn't decide whether this was the upper limit of the stock exhaust or the upper limit of this engine, so I tried to develop the full exhaust.
As it turns out, by changing to a full exhaust system, the potential of the vehicle was further demonstrated and a significant power increase was achieved.
The basic exhaust pipe is the same as WR'S 2017-2019 full exhaust, but the center pipe length and silencer structure were changed to find the best combination, and the volume and sound quality were adjusted to the final specification.
As mentioned earlier, the 2020- CBR250RR has a higher compression ratio (0.6) than the previous model as well as more power, which results in a very high sound volume and sound pressure, making the tough JMCA certification test more difficult. In this certification test, WR's prepared the "best" specification and the "better" specification with slightly lower volume.
As a result, both exhausts passed the "best" specification test without any loss of power.
In WR's bench test, the peak power was increased by 2.2 to 2.4 horsepower respectively, and the power was successfully increased from the mid range without dropping below the stock power.
It's a big power up for a 250cc engine.
All of the sound quality is finished with bass sound, especially "SS-OVAL SHORT_LINE" is finished with wild sound quality with heavy bass sound, but 2020- CBR250RR is louder than the previous model with low compression ratio.
Round type full exhaust is recommended for [Mild sound quality with bass sound].
SS-OVAL type full exhaust is recommended for [low and sporty sound quality].
[overall wild sound quality with heavy bass] -> SS-OVAL SHORT_LINE full exhaust is recommended.
There are 3 types of silencers available, so you can choose the one that suits you best.
