Introducing T2Racing Titanium Chamber Flange.
This is the exclusive flange for the T2Racing chamber. As you can see in the picture, the stainless steel flange weighs 214g, while the titanium flange weighs only 122g.
The material is 64 titanium, finished in black with PVD coating, and laser marked with the T2Racing logo.
■What is PVD coating?
It is a surface treatment method called "PVD", which stands for "Physical Vapor Deposition".
Physical vapor deposition refers to the principle that "when water is boiled, water droplets adhere to the inside of the container".
Using this principle, the metal for the film is dissolved and evaporated by plasma in a vacuum furnace to form positive ions, which are then reacted with the introduced gas to form negative ions, which collide with the surface of the product to be coated, forming a film.
A film with an oblique structure with excellent durability is formed, and it has many excellent features such as high hardness and high adhesion.
PVD coating reinforces and protects the durability of metal surfaces.It can improve various performance of metal such as abrasion resistance, adhesion resistance, and mold release property.
It is also a feature of PVD coating that the film on the surface does not peel off easily.

Titanium is characterized by its excellent corrosion resistance and light specific gravity.Titanium alloys in particular have the highest specific strength of all the metals in use.
