[Description]

A fierce battle between "King" Kenny Roberts and "Fast" Freddie Spencer unfolded in 1983.
Two American geniuses, sharing pole position and victory in every race...
The fight for the title, which went all the way to the final round, has become a legend and is still talked about today.

The highest class of motorcycle racing, started in 1949.
After a period when there were no television broadcasts, images of the races began to be recorded on a one-off basis from the 1970s.The 1983 season in the 500cc class will go down in Grand Prix history as one of the most memorable.
This season includes the 10th British Grand Prix and the 12th San Marino Grand Prix as the only surviving footage, but unlike the other films, it gives us a detailed picture of what it was like.It also includes a number of interviews, which are not to be missed.

Kenny Roberts reached the pinnacle of his career in 1978-79-80 when he began competing in full World Grand Prix events.
Freddie Spencer, on the other hand, made a spot entry in the 500cc class in 1980, and in 1982 he became a full-time competitor, finishing 3rd in the ranking with five podium finishes, including two wins.
In the 83rd season, no other rider could win the championship except these two riders.
The Swedish Grand Prix was the 11th race of the season for both drivers.Spencer forced Roberts to the inside on the final lap, but both drivers went off the track. He barely made it back onto the track and the winner was Spencer.
In the interview in the previous round in England, they had talked about how close they were to each other and to the Americans, but in the final round, the tension was unusually high.

Kenny and Freddie were the only two winners that year!
The young lion will challenge "King" Kenny, who has been the champion for three consecutive years since 1978.
"Fast" Freddie had won his first race at the Belgian Grand Prix the previous year and was very enthusiastic about his second full season.

A battle that symbolizes the HY war
The two drivers shared the pole position and the center of the podium for all 12 races, six times each.On three occasions he was more than 30 seconds ahead of the two riders behind him and the third-placed rider.
This was a time when there were no television broadcasts as there are today.Unfortunately, their fierce battle only lasted two races, the British GP and the final round in San Marino, but the final round was the most dramatic race of the season, so it's a must-see!
