[Description]
Clutch Spring Retainer for HONDA CRF250R
This part suppresses abnormal vibration from the clutch spring and improves the operating accuracy.
[effect]
・Smooth disengagement of the clutch.
・No slippage and secure connection.
・It will be easier to do up front!
・The friction loss is also reduced and the grip becomes lighter.
・Judder reduction.
・Improved durability of the disc.
・Using the included washer allows for a weaker grip connection.
When installed, it works more like a machine designed to work.
It is very effective for the bike which has a problem here, slipping or bad touch.
The spring and the pressure plate make it difficult to cause vibration.
By adding a washer, you can adjust the grip connection to be stronger or weaker.
It is low in height, so it does not interfere with the case cover.
[fitting instructions]
1. If necessary, place a washer on the boss post or in the retainer where you stuck the bolt.You can grease it.
2. Insert the retainer with the spring and bolts stuck in it.
3. Tighten the bolts temporarily. After the five bolts are aligned, tighten them diagonally.

・Set for 2010-2021 (red).The stock bolts for 2010-2017 are short, but the longer bolts provided will work.
・A view of the pressure plate to match.It always fits in the center because of the countersunk screws.
・The parts have been cut and modified to match those for other bikes.
・If there is poor engagement and a difference in touch between cold starts and after warm-up, combining the clutch plate groove machining can be highly effective.
・It's hard to check for conformity.But there is also a lot to discover.
・Left side is brand new, right side is after 2 years of regular use.
・These are the marks where the springs were vibrating.These are marks from being struck by vibration rather than sliding.The vibration generated from this vibration vibrated the entire clutch, preventing smooth connection and disconnection, causing slippage and generating considerable frictional heat.
The retainer can significantly reduce the transmission of vibration from this spring.
・The washer is fully secured when the bolt is tightened.The more you add, the less the spring is tightened and the lighter it becomes.
Retainers are effective in improving clutch touch and disengagement, but I want to reduce drag more.To avoid more heat loss.Clutch plate grooving and chamfering is effective for "Clutch plate grooving and chamfering".

*2022 type (green) is 1mm stronger than stock without washer.Same strength and weight as stock with one washer.Weakened by 1mm when 2 washers are inserted.
