[Description]
Pepex seal high durability / low friction oil seal set!
This is a value set of oil seals mainly used in engines!
[Features of fluoropolymer coating]
This is the ultimate oil seal for wheels with "greatly reduced loss of frictional resistance" by coating the sliding parts of the main lip with fine particles of PTFE, a low-friction material!
It demonstrates excellent wear resistance and can be used in harsh environments without lubrication, and also has a long service life due to reduced heat generation from sliding.
That's exactly what the Pepex seal looks like in its signature blue!
・PTFE is commercialized under the name Teflon by DuPont and is mainly used for industrial purposes, but it can also be found in everyday life, such as fluorine coating on frying pans.
[Features of fluoroelastomers]
It is a highly durable oil seal with outstanding wear resistance, heat resistance, cold resistance, oil resistance, chemical resistance, and weather resistance that outperforms commonly distributed NBR products by an order of magnitude, making it "the best balanced rubber among various rubbers" and enabling a dramatic increase in maintenance cycles.

Caution
*It cannot be used for NSR250R SP.
*Compared to oil seals with a rubber lip, the tip of the lip is more prone to "scratches".
(1) Make sure there are no "burrs" or "flaws" on the shaft end.
(2) If the shaft has a keyway or spline, wrap tape around it to protect it.
(3) When inserting the shaft, do not force it, but insert it gently and straight.
*Manufacturing characteristics: Due to the nature of injection molding, the PTFE coating may not be exposed on the entire lip surface, but this is not a problem for use.The lip seals at the leading edge of the lip, so if there is a PTFE coating on a small portion of the lip (line), the lip will perform properly.
*There may be changes in product specifications due to the manufacturer's reasons.
