For basic, street-oriented riding
The V-STROM250SX is a significant evolution from the V-STROM250, taking on the name of the Sport Crossover.
The newly adopted oil-cooled single-cylinder engine is a combination of Suzuki's technologies and lightweight chassis, allowing the bike to be freely enjoyed from urban areas to winding and unpaved roads in touring destinations.
However, we have received comments that the spring (progressive rate) characteristics, which are sufficient for pillion riding and additional weight when loaded, are a little insufficient for off-road riders who prefer a more flexible suspension.
The Nitron is based on the concept of a more enjoyable suspension, and by reviewing the spring rates, we have achieved a flexible, stress-free feel and a suspension that can fully demonstrate its performance as a lightweight adventure bike in rough road conditions.
In addition to the standard set value, two recommended set values are provided to suit the customer's needs and to allow the customer to enjoy the differences in each characteristic according to the riding conditions.
This product is equipped with a hydraulic pre-load adjuster (HPA) as standard, and the springs are available in turquoise or titanium black.
The R1 series is Nitron's basic shock absorber with a built-in reservoir tank.
The damper adjustment system is simple, yet allows for a wide range of adjustment with a 1-way adjuster that works both compression and rebound.
Oil and gas are completely separated by a free piston.
The damping performance can be maintained for a long time.
The body and rods are made of the same material as R3 / R2 series, and the accuracy is controlled in the same way.
The shock absorber is designed for street and touring use, and is equipped with a ride height adjustment mechanism as standard equipment.
