The Matris Monoshock M46KD type uses nickel-coated alloy steel for the main cylinder.
Other parts such as damper heads, pistons, preload adjuster nuts, and double nuts are made of lightweight, high-strength super duralumin 7075, which is machine-cut from solid wood to high precision, and then hard-anodized for high durability.
■Chrome Coating Piston Rod
The piston rod of the M46KD model is chrome coated.
■Adjustment function
The M46KD model has a 1-way damping adjustment mechanism for the rebound side only.
■Preload adjuster
The basic model is equipped with a ring nut type preload adjuster, and a type with a hydraulic preload adjuster for easy adjustment is also available.
■Nitrogen gas injection
To prevent cavitation caused by the violent movement of the piston rod, a free piston is placed inside the cylinder to maintain high pressure to prevent cavitation, high durability, and prevent setting errors.
■Springs
Single rate springs are used.
