If the angle of the swingarm is tighter, the amount of space of the drive chain needs to be larger than before.
As the swingarm strokes, the rear axle point becomes farther and farther away, and if the chain space is small, it can lead to the case of over tension and lock in the worst case.
However, when the chain space is set to the minimum, the disadvantage of the large amount of slack (vibration of the power transmission system during acceleration and deceleration) becomes more noticeable and may have a negative effect on the handling during sudden braking and acceleration.
SANCTUARY MECHANIC BRAND Drive Chain Roller Slider is designed to put the roller close to the swingarm pivot for effective tensioning of the drive chain.
This item not only adjusts the space of the drive chain at the bottom of the pivot, but also prevents the interference between the drive chain and the frame that occurs as the rear wheel becomes wider.
By using different spacers and shims, various chain line offset values can be accommodated.
