The change arm is the key to the shifting operation and is a necessity to rotate the drum gears reliably.
The change shaft is quenched and carefully welded to a pressed steel plate cut out by laser cutting to achieve outstanding durability and wear resistance.
If the arm is worn out, it will not be able to shift gears accurately, causing the gears to drop out and damaging the dogs of each gear.
It is recommended to replace the return springs as soon as possible.
