In general, when tuning the drivetrain of a scooter, the gear ratio of the drive pulley is increased (the belt spreads to the outside), and the V-belt is brought to the center of the rear driven side to change the gear ratio and raise the maximum speed.
However, in the case of the Address V125 drivetrain, the problem that arises when trying to increase the maximum speed by using a wider range of pulleys is the small shifting range of the stock fixed drive.
This is because the stock fixed drive is set to match the shifting width of the stock pulley, and when the shifting ratio of the drive pulley is increased, the V-belt will go over the rear fixed drive face toward the center (high speed side).
In this case, only one side (torque cam side) of the V-belt has enough force to grip the V-belt, and the V-belt slips, which not only prevents the speed from increasing, but also causes the V-belt to peel or break.
The "Pulley & Driven Set" is the solution to this problem limited to the Address V125.
This set includes a large diameter pulley to increase the maximum speed and the original fixed drive with the face extended inward to prevent the V-belt from falling in.
