This cover that J's reproduced is made by ABS vacuum casting method, which is exactly the same as the stock method.
There are many types of ABS resin.
The method of injecting resin into a simple FRP mold used to make prototypes does not produce the same hard finish as the stock.
In addition, the production quantity is limited and the price of one piece is high.
J's has created all new molds to produce a shape that is very close to stock.
J's had been troubled by the price of used parts, but J's has achieved a reasonable price by mass production.
And the weak point of the stock is the weak fixing part to the frame.
It is made stronger than the stock one.
