The Springer fork disappeared from Harley new availability after 2011.
After that, the supply as a stock Harley repair part was ended, and it became a phantom part at last.
Proto brings together the technologies cultivated through the development of the Springer fork for road hoppers and introduces a new Springer fork to the world.

■Faithful reproduction of the original design to the smallest detail.
Both FL type and FX type are faithfully reproduced with the original design and dimensions.
Particularly focused on the way the main legs were connected.
The connection is brazed instead of welded as is common with aftermarket parts.The caulking process to fill the gaps in the connections is also a point well known to many.
Through destruction tests to check the strength of the product, it was discovered that this product is so much stronger than the original.
Top clamp, handlebar riser, shock absorber, caliper support, axle shaft and other peripheral parts are included in the kit for smooth installation.

Available in beautiful chrome or black powder coat.Please choose the one that best suits your model.
・Stem peripheral parts
Handlebar risers, top clamp, stem nut, etc. are as standard equipment.
・Main leg brazed connection
Brazed connections to recreate the look of the original.It has both sufficient strength and classic design.
・Shock Absorber
FL type and FX type have different stroke characteristics due to the difference in dimension.
Shock absorbers with damping performance tailored to each characteristic are as standard equipment.
・Caliper support for stock caliper
Caliper support for stock caliper, torque rod is standard equipment.
■Performance and convenience beyond the original.
・Rocker arm with built-in bearing
Spherical bearings are used at the joints of both front and rear legs to ensure smooth movement of the rocker arms.
In addition, the main rocker bolts do not need to be tightened and adjusted, which improves serviceability.
This is Proto's original mechanism established in the springer fork for road hoppers.
・Handlebar lock for EVO and Twin Camshaft
The stem shaft has been pre-machined to allow the use of the stock handlebar lock on EVO and Twin Camshaft frames.
The padlock type is also available by attaching the attached bracket.
It is compatible with all handlebar lock constructions, which are different depending on model-years and markets.
