Psycle Shop Original Replica Beld Megaphone exhaust in Kanagawa.
This is a replica of the "SABRE 3 inch megaphone exhaust" that was sold by Dixie's SUPERIOR parts brand.
A custom exhaust with a bell-shaped tip on the end of the megaphone, popular from the 50s to the 70s.
It is commonly called a "cocktail shaker" because of its structure and shape.
The bridge on the back of the exhaust and the J-hook type bracket slide back and forth widely, and the mounting system can be adjusted and fixed.
It is an old school style mount, though a little unrefined compared to modern ones.
SUPERIOR was also sold without the clamp, but the type with the clamp is reproduced.
With brazed integral clamps.
In addition to the standard 1-3/4 inch (44.5mm) pipe, the socket can be used for 45mm pipe, which is widely substituted in Japan due to lack of material distribution.
In order to avoid too much clearance for inch pipe, it is a little tight for mm pipe.
The plate type "double baffle" that can be easily detached with a wing nut is reproduced as well.
The short flare at the tip of the bell-tip is also reproduced, and a flat head screw is used for mounting.
