R&U FLANDERS style iron riser set
[Description]
This is R&U's original steel riser, sampling the characteristic rounded shape of FLANDERS and designed to match with glide risers and springer top tees. The height is a fairly low 1-1/4 inches (approx. 32mm). *This is the height from the seat base at the bottom to the flat part of the top surface. The measurement at the center of the actual handle would be a few more millimeters higher. This is a riser set for materials created with iron casting and stopped at up to polishing.(*The product is not chrome-treated, so it will rust.) Use it as a custom base for painting it black, daring it to rust and converting it to black rust, or adjusting its length. The seat surface is designed to be approximately the same size as the diameter of the solid mounts commonly used on glide risers, which eliminates the presence of the solid mounts when installed and allows for a sleeker fit.(This is similar to the riser made by Pauco.) The seat diameter is approximately 36.9mm, so it can be used in combination with Springer's earless top tees.(R&U PRODUCTS risers with a small seat diameter of other companies' products could not be used in combination because the risers would fit into the hole in the top tee.) Compatible riser bolts are 1/2-20 fine. bikes already using fine bolts can use them without modification.
Caution
*Tightening bolts for the top are not included.(Use 5/16-24x1" bolt size for the top.) *If you are using 1/2-13 coarse bolts, please purchase 1/2-20 fine riser bolts separately. *The seat diameter is larger than the triple's floating design and will protrude when combined with a 39mm triple from 2004 onward. *There may be changes in product specifications due to the manufacturer's reasons.
