The shift pedal developed for the R1300GS has large cutouts, and is machined from a solid block instead of the usual method of bending a sheet of metal.
The stock resin shift pedal is flexible and loses force when shifting, but this pedal is machined from 25mm-thick aluminum for high rigidity.
The gear change stroke of the stock is short and requires a certain amount of force to get up, which may give an unnatural impression of being stuck, depending on the individual.
The new design allows for the same stroke as the stock and a longer stroke, so that shifting can be done with less force and fatigue can be reduced when touring.
Based on the above, we have enabled crisp gear changes and pedal operation with a sense of high rigidity.
It's only a small thing, but getting rid of even a little stress you feel while riding will make your GS life more enjoyable.
■Product Specifications
[Lever ratio can be changed]
Three settings can be made: stock lever ratio / intermediate / long stroke (the bottom hole is the stock equivalent lever ratio)
Shifting to a longer stroke allows you to shift gears with less force, which leads to less fatigue while riding.
[Pedal tip extension]
By lengthening the stock by approximately 5mm, anxiety about missing a change is eliminated
[Variable pedal tip structure]
The pedal tip can be adjusted up and down, allowing for a maximum vertical adjustment of approximately 12mm
[High-precision rod ends]
More precise rod ends for efficient operation and comfortable shifting feel
[Special bolt used]
Special bolts with a diameter of 7.995-7.986 are used for the parts that come in contact with the bearing
[Double bearing]
Double high-precision bearings are used.
