It was an epoch creator, and became the revolutionary icon of the 250 scooter. It acquired both maneuverability like a sport bike and an excellent practicability by having 12-inch front & rear wheels, a rigid frame and a strong suspension.
Front parts of the 400 were transplanted to the KH250. It adopted a hydraulic front disc brake and one size bigger tires for its front and rear. The engine specification has not been changed from the 250SS whose sales was launched in Dec 1973.
Though the engine or the body were basically the same as the ones of GRASSTRACKER, it had its wheels enlarged (19-inch/18-inch) to make it look more bigger.
It was the first 250cc class model to adopt a water-cooled DOHC 4-cylinder engine. It was the most powerful 4-stroke engine and marked 36PS. It smoothly blew up till its red zone.
Same as the 400, it also came in a style with a bikini cowl and 2-tone coloring in accordance with the trend of those days. A single-colored non-cowl version was also available.
It was not just a relaxing type cruiser model, but it was also good for a sporty ride. The three series model had the same power specification. It was equipped with a halogen light.
It was brought to the market as the sport version of the CB250T. It had an appearance of the HAWK III, and mounted a 6-speed transmission, a front double disc, and a Comstar wheel.
