HONDA DAX
The second mode with an animal name which came after the MONKEY. Type III, named Export Z, had a separable fork for trunk loading. There was also a 72cc model. -
KAWASAKI ZEPHYR 1100
ZEPHYR series went on from 400 to 750. Though some fans expected the arrival of 900, 1100 was brought to the market. The air-cooled unit which had the KAWASAKI's largest bore adopted a twin plug and the DAILS system. Its majestic style did indeed inherit the blood line of the Z series. -
HONDA PCX125
Its elegant and lively figure gave a sophisticated impression. It equipped a smoke windshield and a large headlight with 35W/30W double halogen bulbs that was combined with the blinker lamp and placed to the front. -
HONDA RVF
The 400cc version of the RC45. It mounted a cam-controlled gear train water-cooled V4 engine on its aluminum twin tube frame. It was armed with a Φ 41 inverted fork and a pro-arm link. -
HONDA NV400SP
A road sports model that was based on the NV400 Custom. Its power had been slightly improved. It was equipped with inboard disc brakes and a FVQ damper. -
HONDA NV400 Custom
A cruiser model which mounted a 3-valve 2-plug 52 degrees V-twin engine. It was driven by the shaft drive, and was succeeded by the STEED later on. -
KAWASAKI KH400
Like other SS series models, it changed its name to KH. It mounted the 2-stroke triple engine, and placed two exhaust pipes to its right and one to its left. The MY79 model became the last version of the KH400. -
KAWASAKI 400SS
Though the bore of the 350SS had been enlarged by 4mm into convert this model to 400cc, the output power had been lowered to 42PS. The maneuverability had been greatly improved by the extended wheelbase. -
HONDA CX500 Turbo
The first mass productive turbo model which mounted an IHI turbin on the export CX500 that had an OHV 80-degrees V-twin engine. Though it was a 500cc model, it demonstrated the power of 750. -
HONDA XL500S
The XL series model with the largest engine displacement volume. It mounted a large diameter (23-inch) front tire. The front brake was reinforced, and the shape of its front fender was modified.
