The basic machine for the SB race which superseded 750cc V4 engine RVF (RC45). It mounted V2 engine with FI on its aluminum twin spar frame. It performed brilliantly at the 8-Hours Endurance Race or WSBK Championship.
MY05 model which went through full model change. It had enlarged its bore by 0.4mm to make it 999cc. It had undergone drastic revision by having titanium valve and by upgrading its FI system.
