Free event for all “YZF-R” owners

The YZF-R Owners Meeting Executive Committe held the YZF-R1 20th Anniversary YZF-R Owners Meeting at Sportsland SUGO on Saturday. YZF-R1, which was born in 1998 celebrates 20 years on June 23rd this year.

This meeting is a free event for all “YZF-R” owners from “YZF-R 125” to “YZF-R1”. The YZF-R owner who inherited the Yamaha Super Sports “R-DNA” that started from the first “YZF-R1” in 1998 will be gathered, celebrating the 20th anniversary of R1, deepening the exchange between the owners and deepening “YZF- R “series is scheduled to share the hot feelings to the series.

They also organized a special project unique to the 20th anniversary such as displaying the materials that uncover the history of R1 at the time of birth, exhibiting successive R1’s in each pit, holding talk shows of successive developers, demonstration runs by pro riders, original goods display and etc.

It is sponsored by Presto Corporation, Yamaha Motor Sales Co., Ltd. and Y’s Gear Co., Ltd. and is a major event of Yamaha Super Sports covering all “YZF-R” series.

In addition, premium novelty will be gifted for limited participants / limited quantity pre-entry from the entry form in the dedicated site. Advance entry is until 14th June (Thursday).
