Z1000P, commonly called Z1000 Police, has been developed for police motorcycles in the US based on Z1000. It is said that the popularity in Japan has owed much to the US tv drama CHiPs. Z1000P features the large body, large front fairing, big lighting fixtures and upright positioned handlebar. Z1000P is a very hard-to-find motorcycle that is rarely seen in Japan.
