56design has started to sell jeans jointly developed with EDWIN, one of the large jeans manufactures in Japan. Each jeans is good for everyday use as well as your riding.

Shinnya Nakano, the representative of 56design and a former MotoGP rider, has pursued functions for riders together with EDWIN and developed the jeans. Now, they are 56design’s basic items. Newly improved jeans are lined up every year. Many products have carefully designed protections to seek safety. Unique ideas as a professional rider have been applied to their jeans.

The most remarkable thing is the cool mesh jeans. Using material that is rather light for denim, the product has better ventilation than usual models and uses contact cold sensation material as its liner.
The knee protector position is adjustable. This has admirably resolved customer complaints such as “the protector position doesn’t fit me…”

This jeans include all the functions unique to rider jeans: draping, areas around the pockets, low head rivets, and D-shaped rings. Further, they provide comfort in the hot season.
Two colors are offered: one wash and damaged wash. Manufacture’s suggested retail price is 13,800 Yen (excluding tax).
