Tools that are functional works of art

I have had many tools in my life, but I must say none have been as exceptional as the Ko-kens: they are functional works of art. This socket wrench set is no exception. The ratchets are well design with next to no backdrag with a very comfy black grip. The area under the direction switch has a pebble finish, while the flats have a matte finish and the curved surfaces are fully polished: a very tasteful and art-like presentation.The sockets are low-profile, so they will fit in tight spots easily. They are six-point and fit the nuts and bolts precisely. The set comes with all of the extensions that you might need, they, like the rest of the set, are flawless. There is also an easy spinner that is very helpful when starting of finishing a bolt or nut. There is also a very nice breaker bar that will save the fine gears of the ratchet for the tighter fasteners. A pinless universal joint comes with the set, and it is probably the smoothest I have used. The set comes in a very nice metal box with a foam insert that holds all of the tools securely. The manufacturer goes the extra mile by placing all of the sockets such that the sizes are easily visable.
