I made a mistake in my Size selection.
Motorcycles like mine with a Rear Carrier installed should be 1 or 2 sizes larger than the appropriate size.
If this Cover gets damaged, I'll go for 2SizeLarge next time!

A position that will never get old.
The bike had a wide handlebar from the time of purchase, but when I thought about long distance riding, the riding posture, etc., became very difficult, so I decided to go with the OEM handlebar.
Of course, Cableetc. is also OEM.
I have ridden on vehicles with various shapes of handlebar, such as Separate handle, Wide, TRACKER, etc,
OEM Handlebar of Large Body is Pipe Handlebar, isn't it?
Pipe Handlebar
Pipe Handlebar is a handlebar made by bending a single piece of pipe, and is used in a wide range of models from naked motorcycle to American motorcycle, and is the most standard handlebar. 。 There are a variety of shapes and sizes, from flat-shaped models for sports driving to models with high handles for Americans.
Flat shaped Handlebar is Continental handle The high handlebar used for American and other products is Handlebar Up Type It is called
Why is the OEM Pipe Handlebar?
Pipe Handlebar Characteristics
。
Suitable for long-distance touring, as it does not tire easily even after long hours of driving. 。 In addition, the handlebar is easy to turn off, making it easy to turn around at low speeds and maneuver when dismounting.
=It's a Handlebar that is less tiring on Motorcycle. And Large Resistance is easier to handle.
And the material used for OEM handlebars, including ESTRELLA, is Steel.
SteelHandlebar is ...
Characterized by low strength and heavy weight.
→It looks like Demerit, but it's not Demerit.
Since the strength →Cost surface ...
The weight of the handlebar is a good measure to prevent vibration. If there is a lot of vibration, it means that the handlebar is heavier.
We considered those advantages and made it OEM.
What I also liked was the Handlebar width. It's 72.5 cm in actual size and 8 cm high, which fits my physique (laughs).

■ Comments
I bought a modified car and drove it as is, so I didn't know about the OEM's position. But it's not the kind of forward lean that hurts my back, it's a normal NAKED type position.
The handlebar width has been reduced, and the volume of the tank is more prominent, which I like.

Necessary and sufficient
Bulb for Tail lamp.
It is called Halogen bulb. The existing Halogen bulb ran out and was replaced.
Nowadays, more and more motorcycles use LEDs, and Halogen is often considered old-fashioned, but this is not the case.
Sufficient in terms of performance.
Merit has been quite a bit.
[Merit]
◎They have better brightness than common White heat bulbs.
◎Because it does not illuminate the road surface more than necessary. Merit is available to ensure sufficient visibility even in the rain.
Many of the fogs for vehicles are Halogen.
◎ Inexpensive. You can also buy them at →Home centretc.
◎The replacement method is also easy. Simply hasp→socket and put it in.
[Demerit]
▲Sensitive to heat when used for long periods of time.
Durability is lower than LEDs.
▲Lower color temperature (brightness) compared to LEDs.
There is Merit and Demerit.
→Adapted well to security standards.
→ Short replacement Cycle is also inexpensive and Cover.
→ ease of availability.
→ Spreads the light better than LEDs and HIDs.
I think it is sufficient for use as a tail lamp to notify the presence of following cars.

ESTRELLA's Restore, but we are still working on it.
Now I would like to renew the drivetrain, not only the front sprocket but also the rear sprocket.
I don't know OEM because I bought a vehicle that was custom made at the time of purchase (lol).

Replace Rear Sprocket.
Don't play with the number of pins, leave it as OEM.
Rear sprocket
...Sprocket is a disk with teeth around the periphery that wraps around the chain. (disc) Shape or cylinder (Drum) Shape parts 。 The rear sprocket, also known as the driven sprocket, receives power from the chain and drives the front wheels and other drive shafts. (Output Shaft) The drive Torque is conveyed to the
[Changing Sprocket.
The Sprocket is responsible for transmitting the power of the Engine to the Wheel. 。 By changing the number of Sprocket Ding before and after this conveying power. Acceleration-oriented. or Fuel-efficient, High Speed Oriented" type can be changed to either of the following.
〜I want to increase the maximum speed.
Rear Sprocket Ding Number →. "cut back"
〜I want to improve acceleration.
Rear Sprocket Ding Number →. Increase."
I have already experienced this with the CUB, but when the maximum speed is reached, the Axel is turned more and more, so the fuel consumption goes down. 。
It is the reverse of Front sprocket.
With Front, if you reduce it, it accelerates, and if you increase it, it is the maximum speed.
Like the Front, the Rear Sprocket also has a life span.
[Rear Sprocket's lifespan
Rear Sprocket is said to last up to 30,000km. This is only a guideline, and the service life will vary depending on the maintenance and usage conditions of the Sprocket.
It is important to visually check the degree of wear to determine when it is time for replacement.
After about 30,000 km, the Driven Sprocket may be damaged to a large size, and the mountains may be deformed as well as worn down to a small size. 。 It is not impossible to continue to use the car up to this point, but for safety reasons, it is desirable to replace the car after 15,000 to 20,000 km.
Rear part of the engine seems to wear out longer because it is farther from the engine power. In my case, I am ashamed to say that I have not had to replace the rear parts for almost 5,000 years............so replacement is a must.
How to exchange ~ESTRELLA's Rear Sprocket~.
(1) Float the Rear tire with Center Stand or Jack.
↓
Loosen the ASKULNut near the rear tire, and loosen the Chain Adjuster to the maximum large limit.
↓
Pull out the ASKULNut and remove the Rear tire with Wheel.
It is easier to do it at an angle so that it does not get caught on the Rear Fender.
↓
Place the Rear Tire on the top of a step ball or other place where it will not be damaged.
Place the Rear Sprocket so that it is facing you.
↓
(5) Remove the Rear Sprocket from the Rear tire.
↓
(6) Clean up the area where it was fitted and attach a new Rear Sprocket.
↓
(7) Return the Rear tire while inserting the Axle Shaft.
↓
(8) Bite the Chain into the Rear Sprocket.
↓
?Adjust the play of the Chain and tighten the ASKULNut.
↓
(10) Empty the Tire and check the operation. If there are no problems, the operation is complete.
The work process is less than that of the front sprocket, but there are many situations that require a lot of strength, such as removing and installing the tire, so it may be better to work with another person if you are not used to working alone. If you are used to it, you can make a large sprocket by yourself.
I did a test run with 38 in the front 15 back and the factory Sprocket settings.
[Good point]
There is a lower speed Torque than expected.
○ Fuel consumption has also increased a little.
It looks like it will last longer than the external Sprocket.
[Bad point]
X Maximum speed is not good.
→In the end, I thought it was the ratio of Sprocket that was considered when designing the bike, since it is a motorcycle that is used for touring and leisurely driving.
If you change the carburetor, play with the engine, etc., I think it's also interesting to set the front and rear Sprocket to the highest speed, but for everyday use, I'm satisfied with this. In my case.

The life of the front sprocket is 15,000km.
Large body:I've been told that it's a rough estimate, and my own experience is that it's about 10,000 to 20,000 km in mileage.
And interestingly, Front and Rear have different life spans.
This result shows that the Front is closer to the Engine power and wears out more quickly.

(8) Chain is bitten and Chain lube is applied.
↓
?Return the Cover and also return the Engine's Cover.
↓
?Chain play is also adjusted and completed.
*Please try to turn the Rear tire by hand to check the operation. 。
Although there are more steps involved, it is less difficult than replacing the Rear Sprocket or Chain, so it should be easy for those who do it themselves.
For example, if Torque is too strong and it is difficult to ride, you can increase the number of pins, and if Torque is too weak, you can decrease the number of pins.
However, since there is a range of the number of ding for each car model, we recommend that it be done within that range.
For example ... if the OEM is 15 before and 38 after, the range is 43.
If the number of pins is reduced, raise the number of pins by one, and if the number of pins is about 16 in the front, it may be large enough to be sturdy, but if it is extreme, change the number of pins in the rear.
I think that Sprocket is a White face because it is a place where you can experience it.

essentials of air supply and exhaust
We have finished the overhaul of Carburetor and are updating the peripheral parts as much as possible.
In the beginning, I thought it was just a matter of moving, but there's no end to it (laughs).
In our experience, we should replace the parts of the system that are prone to supply and exhaust Trouble.
Indicator.
Indicator
‥ Indicator is the parts that connect the cylinder head to the carburetor. 。
It is also the pathway through which the air mixture made by the carburetor is sent to the engine. 。 Since the shape of the engine and carburetor differs depending on the car model, the shape is adapted to each.
Role of the Indicator
Indicator in the case of two-wheeled vehicles is a heat shield. 。 It is designed to protect components that are vulnerable to high temperatures from heat. 。 In automobiles, examples include the HeatIndicator, which is placed between the exhaust pipe and the carburetor, and the Engine Mount, which is installed between the Engine, Body, and Frame.
Simply put, it is the connection between the carburetor and the engine, and is like a pipe that sends the air mixture to the engine in a clean form (without adding anything extra).

Rubber and made of rubber are common.
Advantages→ Adhesion and freedom of movement have led to its adoption.
Cons→ Prone to Crack cracks and other problems with age.
Crack cracks in Manifold over time are [Secondary air]. causes the
[Secondary air].
The secondary air is the extra air that enters the Engine combustion chamber from sources other than the Carburetor. The air required for the air mixture (air + vaporized gasoline) is normally drawn in from the Carburetor and sent to the Engine combustion chamber via the Air Cleaner.
[Symptoms of secondary air]
(1) Failure to start
. If secondary air is flowing into the engine, the engine is likely to start poorly and stall.
(2) RPM does not increase
. If secondary air is generated, combustion efficiency is reduced, resulting in poor blow-off and difficulty in raising RPM.
Idling is unstable.
(4) If secondary air is generated, it may take longer to reach the high rpm range, and the extension may be felt to be poor. 。
[How do you check secondary air on a carburetor?
When the secondary air is sucked, it is easy to check the rotation by spraying flammable liquid such as Parts Cleaner around the manifold at the time of idling. 。
If you think something is wrong with the carburetor setting, you should be skeptical. If you feel that something is wrong with your carburetor setting, you may want to question it.
Replacement is easy. 。
Material between carburetor and cylinder:Simply remove the Rubber Indicator and replace it. Finally, tighten the band on the carburetor side.
Notes.
When fastening the Indicator with Bolt, do not tighten it as hard as you can→ cause cracks or deformation.
I think it would still work for me, but Material:Since it is a Rubber, I was concerned about durability, so I replaced it.

Where do you put your feet when you ride the Motorcycle?
FOOTPEG.
This time, replace the Cover on the footpeg and the Footpeg Rubber.
Motorcycle footpeg
The footpeg, together with the handlebar and seat, is an important part that determines the riding posture when riding a motorcycle. 。
While riding, the theory is to hold the motorcycle with both legs, and then clamp the body between the knees (called "knee grip"). 。 By bearing the weight of the motorcycle from the waist down, you can control the motorcycle to a certain extent only by shifting your body weight.
→That's why you're riding with both feet on the ground, taking the center of gravity with you.
Of course, the act of riding a motorcycle would not be possible without it. It is indispensable.
And where to put the footpeg, depending on the individual.
...basically. A little behind the base of the thumb. The tip of the Boots should not interfere with the Pedal. 。
When it comes to →, the ride is also affected by the footpeg Material.
Material used for footpeg (Rubber)
■ Material:Rubber (Steel is in the bottom)
The thick walled design is mainly used for Classic type cars. Thick and resistant to vibration. However, since it is rubber, it will be worn out and the quality of the rubber will deteriorate after many years of use.
■ Steel
The knurl has a non-slip effect. It is slender and has excellent sports performance such as bank angle.
Rust leaves.
Duralumin
The main use is for external Rear Sets, etc.
Lightweight, strong, and resistant to corrosion.
For →estrella, Material:Rubber.
The reason may be the appearance of the Classic, but I think it is also a vibration countermeasure due to the single-cylinder nature of the engine.
When I was test driving the other day, I felt a large vibration coming from the bottom of the footpeg. I looked closely and found that the rubber on the footpeg was worn out.
Replacement procedure.
(1) Level the vehicle body with Center Stand or Jack.
↓
(2) Material attached on top of Footpeg:Cut and pull out the Rubber footpeg with Cutter.
↓
(3) Clean the removed footpeg with Parts cleaner.
↓
(4) Apply a thin layer of adhesive (◎ for shoes) to the footpeg, and press the footpeg rubber firmly into the footpeg until it reaches the edge.
↓
(5) Dry overnight.
As for the effect, vibration has been eliminated considerably.
And I felt again like a surprisingly non-slippery Material, something I had not felt before.
If you are going to be touring for a long time, you may want to take measures against vibration, right? Although it is a basic measure, replacing the footpeg rubber is quite effective.

There was no→wear or anything like that, but at the time of the overhaul, I thought it would be a good idea to renew the internal parts for the future, so I decided to replace them.
[Symptoms of Needle Jet wear.

Single-cylinder Engines are also susceptible to cracking.
I was wondering if I should replace the Lens of the Tail lamp with an external Tail lamp unit, or keep the OEM unit and just replace the Lens.
If you think about it... Tail lamps have a strong attachment element these days due to the influence of customization, but they are security parts, aren't they?
You need to know the implications about Tail lamps.
Motorcycle Tail lamp
The primary purpose of the tail lamp on a motorcycle is to let the following vehicle know that the vehicle is moving. 。 Lamps also provide an indication of the distance to be measured by following vehicles. 。 The Brake light is activated in conjunction with the Brake applied by MotorcycleRider. 。 It is used to notify people that the vehicle is decelerating and also to let them know that the vehicle is stopped.
So the purpose of the →stop-lamp and the lights for night driving?
Stop-lamp (braking light) Stop-lamp is a light that is turned on when brake is applied, and is also called stop lamp or braking light.
And there are standards.
[Criteria
(2) The light shall be visible in daylight from a distance of 100 m behind it, and its beams shall not obstruct other traffic. 。 The light source is 15W or more but less than 60W and the Large size of the lighting part is 20cm2 or more.
As a security standard*. Red color." be, The light must be visible at night from a distance of 300 meters behind, and the light source must be between 5 watts and 30 watts." etc.
→security standards = also applies to vehicle inspections.
Red color

[Color] Clearable. [Color] When applying Smoke, thin [Color] You will only be able to put up Smoke No. 。 When the Tail lamp is Clear Lens, the color of the Lamp should also be noted.
→ especially the color of the bulbs is a problem.
Where should I install a Motorcycle Tail Lamp? ]
Tail lamps are installed in the center of the car body inside of the blinker, and if there is more than one, they are installed in the quantity.:Pair (for Left and Right) Must be mounted symmetrically 。 In addition, Motorcycles that require vehicle inspections must be very careful when replacing side numbers because the standards for vehicle inspections are very detailed and even a small amount of gap may not pass inspection.
Based on the above, I would like to know if I should use an external or OEM tail lamp. I am wondering...,
OEM→ No worries.
The color and illumination of external &arrarr;lights should also be carefully examined.
This means that.
In the end, I decided to replace the Lens Only because I don't dislike the OEM design. It's cheaper and there is no problem with the safety standards.

What is good about OEMTail lamps,
The large size of the car makes it visible to other cars.
Fat units, as well as Lens and Gasket, can be ordered individually, so they can be used for a long time.
There is no doubt about the Fat Security Standard.
One drawback is that it is a single cylinder Engine, so it cracks under vibration (laughs).

*Idling to low speed region.
The role of the Pilot Jet.
Pilot Jet is a throttle to control the amount of fuel supplied to the engine.
It is used for Idling and other low-speed Engine applications.
Why is it called Pilot or Throw?
Pilot→Mikuni carburetor
○Throw→Name in KEIHINcarburetor
Both work exactly the same.
Note, however, that they are not interchangeable since they are designed by different manufacturers.
Pilot Jet's number.
As with main jet etc., there is a number, and the higher the number, the darker the color.
■Number of the number Small→ thin
■■Number of the number Large→dense

。
When it's stuck→.
Power is lost at low speeds.
▲RPM does not increase.
Idling is unstable.
▲After Fire comes out of Exhaust System.
The adverse effects of this are.
(2) Deficiency
...Actually, this Case is the Case I have decided to replace this time.
The brass-made screwdriver is soft and does not come off, so if you turn the screwdriver with strong force or try to tighten it too hard, it tends to lick the screwdriver. If you try to tighten the screwdriver too hard, it will lick easily. If you lick it, the size of the jet hole will change and you will not be able to use it. It will have to be replaced.
I think it is necessary to use a shorter driver as a countermeasure, and to apply force to the pinpoint and remove it while being conscious of the center of gravity being directly below.

Easy to hang and wind resistant. Very good.
I use this Repeater on my CT110 HUNTER CUB and GB250 CLUBMAN. It is my favorite.
I bought it last year when I bought a CT110 HUNTER CUB, because I was planning to add a front carrier and a RODCarrier to it. I am sure it will be a good reference for those who are considering purchasing it.
The front carrier is made of DRC, the largest class, and is fixed at the most forward position, so the front of the handlebar is considerably longer than in NORMAL, The height of the LeftFront section of the Rear Carrier is 10cm higher than the Seat. The lower part of the front wheel and Quantity:Pair (for Left and Right) As you can see in the photo, I can close the RearFastener to the very bottom, even with the bottom rope tightened quite a bit. I live in an area that is occasionally exposed to strong winds, and the Seat has never rolled up.
Also, I have been using it for over a year now and it has not deteriorated much. (There is a short period of time when the parking Space is in direct sunlight.) Not much dirt on it. (It has a roof, so it is virtually dry even in the rain.) and I have never washed the surface with water. I am very satisfied.
I bought it for GB250 CLUBMAN almost one year after CT110 HUNTER CUB. It is rather a little bit large, so the front wheel lower part and the quantity of the front wheel are a little bit smaller than the original size.:Pair (for Left and Right) The Adjuster rope at the bottom is fully squeezed. There is still room to spare, but not so much that it will flip up in the wind, so we are not worried at all.
Perhaps if it were exposed to rain and direct sunlight throughout the day, the evaluation of deterioration might change, but I cannot comment on that.

Large cuttings that keep the oil level.
I used it for an OEMcarburetor overhaul. 。
Parts inside Carburetor.
To put it very simply, it is like a float that floats in a Pool filled with Gasoline called the Float Chamber at the bottom of the Carburetor.
What is a Float chamber?
Float chamber means Float room. 。
A container for holding a certain amount of fuel that flows from the Fuel Pump. 。
In order to supply the proper amount of fuel to the main nozzle where fuel is being sucked out, the system uses a Needle Valve and Float to keep the liquid level at a constant height.
The role of Carburetor's Float chamber.
The ‥Float chamber plays a role like a Pool that temporarily accumulates fuel in the carburetor.
Fuel accumulated in the float chamber is mixed with air through the Slow Jet and Main Jet, and finally supplied to the engine as air mixture.
How does Carburetor's Float formula work?
The Float system is one of the fuel supply methods, and the carburetor has a dedicated space for storing fuel such as Gasoline called Float chamber, and a unique shaped float called *Float is installed inside this Float chamber. 。 The movement of the Float then adjusts the amount of fuel flow out to provide fuel for the mixture.
Float = component changed this time.
Float, however, is in constant contact with gasoline, so it will deteriorate. Deterioration seems to be inevitable, not just a cause.
As the Float deteriorates, the buoyancy of the Float decreases.
What happens when Float's buoyancy decreases? ]
Float will deform and lose buoyancy if it is exposed to Gasoline for a long time and deteriorates.
The valve may not close with enough force to stop the gasoline from flowing into the fuel tank, causing the oil level to rise above the standard level.
→Overflow occurs.
On the other hand, if the oil level of the carburetor is too low due to deformation, etc., the oil level of the carburetor will be too low.
The fuel mixture is insufficient to meet the fuel requirements, resulting in symptoms such as a thin fuel mixture or, in extreme cases, the inability to start the engine.
Continuously low fuel level puts a continuous load on the engine, which may lead to a risk of engine blowout. 。 It can give more serious Damage than high oil level conditions and should be treated with caution.
In other words, Float is →.
The function of keeping the gasoline oil level in the float chamber of the carburetor constant and supplying fuel.
[Causes of Float Deterioration]
Trouble may occur if the Gasoline in the Chamber is altered or the Float itself is corroded due to decades of aging or prolonged neglect since its manufacture.
→ In my case, it's been over 20 years since manufacture. I think deterioration is undeniable.
It seems to me that replacement is desirable at some point, especially at Overhaul.
I immediately disassembled and replaced it, but the Float I took out was discolored brown (laugh).
If I keep using it like this, it's going to melt.
I'm glad I had the exchange.
Although there are few cases where only a Single Item is replaced, it is one of the parts that should be checked every time a Carburetor is overhauled.

It's very cost effective.
It is OEMMirror-like enough to be satisfactory for the price.
Plating is clean, mirrors are not distorted, and there is no blurring while driving, so rearward vision is good.
The difference between OEM and Large is that the ROD is shorter (lower) and the black parts that look like shock absorbers are just materials.:It means that it is a Plastic Cover. Of course, there is no way to add a shock absorber at this price, so it makes sense.
Overall, I think this is a good product with high cost performance.

Matching with Caliper
Purchased a 1/2-inches diameter short lever to replace the front caliper with a Brembo crab caliper.
Piston diameter 32mm in combination with Caliper (hydraulic pressure ratio 6.35) is
No Control at all with stiff Touch.
Piston diameter 34mm in combination with Caliper (hydraulic pressure ratio 7.17) is
Good Controllability, although a little softer than the preferred Touch.
If it were a standard Lever, would the former combination have been acceptable?

Prepare for the unexpected.
When I bought the vehicle used, it had been changed to an external Switch and did not have a Kill Switch.
At the time of purchase, I did not think the kill switch was that important, but when I understood the meaning of the switch, I thought it would be a good idea to put it on and decided to install an OEM kill switch.
What is Kill switch?
‥ A Switch that stops the required Engine when it is directly connected Wiring. →The one that forces Engine to stop.
And it seems that the Kill switch was originally equipped for Race vehicles.
It used to be a piece of equipment on Race vehicles.
The old 2-stoke racing machine etc. did not have a battery, but only the power generation function of the Engine, and since the Engine is started by “pushing”, it is not equipped with a Cell starter, and if it is for Race cars, it is not equipped with an Ignition key. The engine is not equipped with a cell starter because it has to be pushed & rdquo; to start the engine. This means that a switch”is needed to stop the engine at the end of the run, and that is the Kill switch.
In the case of racing machines, an important reason why a kill switch is necessary is that in the event of a fall or accident, the engine may not stop and the tires may continue to rotate, which would interfere with rider rescue and machine removal operations, as well as pose a risk of igniting leaked gasoline. There is also the danger of igniting leaked Gasoline. 。
In such an emergency, we needed a kill switch that could instantly stop the engine.
This is also the case for four-wheeled races, which are required to be equipped with a kill switch on the outside of the vehicle body so that the course marshal can stop the engine from the outside even if the driver is injured or otherwise unable to stop the engine.
It seems like a device to be used in an emergency state, but as a general Rider.
In what situations would it be used?
[Occasions of use.
→Motorcycle when it falls over.
When→Throttle system failure occurs.
and used in emergencies such as
As for situations where it can be used outside of an emergency situation,
Example:For example, at a toll gate on a toll road, if you stop at a toll gate and immediately stop the engine with the Kill switch while keeping the GEAR in first gear, you can remove both hands from the handlebar without emitting Neutral, making it easier to take out the wallet, etc.
→ To re-start, simply hold Clutch and press the Cell button to start the engine (this method is also convenient for long traffic light waits, etc., as it eliminates the need to exit Neutral).
2.Kill switch installation
It is recommended to spray the inside of the coupler of the Kill switch to be replaced with a contact resister for protection.
Pass the wiring of the Kill switch through the designated position.
How do I install Kill switch?
Remove (1) Seat and Side cover.
↓
(2) Remove the Minus terminal from the battery. 。
↓
(3) Plug in the Coupler of the Kill switch.
↓
(4) Tie Wrapetc. so that Wiring does not get tangled and SwitchBody comes to the RightHandlebar.
↓
(5) Tighten the screws at the bottom of the SwitchBody.
↓
(6) Connect the Battery with the Minus terminal disconnected, put back the Seat and Side cover, and finish.
Check the operation.
Kill switch note...
Note that if you forget to turn off the kill switch and turn off the ignition key when parking the car (i.e., leave the key on), the battery will run up.
If used correctly, it is a device that can avoid the worst in the event of an emergency, so it is safer to have it on.

I think it is an elaborately designed OEMMirror.
I would love to have a stylish Mirror for ESTRELLA, but I have returned my SR400 to OEM Mirror, and I have reaffirmed the visibility and safety of OEM Mirror, so I have decided to buy another OEM Mirror for ESTRELLA as well.
ESTRELLA's OEMMirror, Quantity:Pair (for Left and Right) to
[Motorcycle Back Mirror]
... can check the back of the Motorcycle. Back Mirror is a safe way to travel. Security Parts 。
For motorcycles with a maximum speed of 50 km/h or more, the Quantity:Pair (for Left and Right) s Back Mirror is not installed, it is subject to violation of the Road Traffic Law.
Mirror is a must for Motorcycle.
Back Mirror is indispensable to check the backward direction while driving a motorcycle.
Considering the current traffic situation, there are many cases where it is dangerous not to check the rear of the vehicle, and it is a very important security component.
And if you don't wear Mirror, you will be punished with Gold as a violation.
Mirror safety standards
...Motorcycle's mirror surface area is more than 69 square centimeters 。 If the Mirror is circular, the diameter must be between 94mm and 150mm to comply with the safety standard.
Mirror mirror surface area, regardless of shape, must be at least 69?! 。 For example, 70mm×100mm is OK, but 70mm×90mm has an area of 63?, which is ? in terms of safety standards. 。 For a square, 83mm×83mm is ? at 68.89?.
(Since it is a 250, it is not subject to inspection, but in the rare case that it is stopped by the police on a public road, it will be subject to improper maintenance as a vehicle with unauthorized modifications. 。 He said that it would be policed as an illegal modification, Gold, a penalty of up to six months in prison or 300,000 yen. I'm not sure if it's a good idea. →It's pretty tough...there's been a lot of enforcement lately, so you have to be careful.
And Mirror is only one ?.
According to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, "Motorcycles exceeding 50 km/h are Quantity:Pair (for Left and Right) Both Sides must have 1 pc. each of the posterior mirrors."
Quantity:Pair (for Left and Right) I was certainly surprised at how much easier it was to see the "A" on the "B".
[Visibility] Safety Standards We want to focus on such things as the OEM.
【good point】
◎Rounded rectangular shape Mirror.
Design is good when considered as OEM.
Visibility is of course there. The blind spots seem to have been reduced.
I like the ◎Plating is beautiful and suits the car body.
[Bad point]
The design is so delicate that it can be loosened by vibration (laughs).
▲Steel, so worry about rust. Please wipe it with a blister.
The concept of ESTRELLA Motorcycle is Retro, and I have the impression that it is a well-designed Mirror even if we consider it as an OEM.
It is easy to see, and this shape can be used with the Quantity:Pair (for Left and Right) I think Parenthesis is a good idea even if you put it on.

Heart of the Engine
When I replaced the cell starter the other day, there was a situation where I had to open the crankcase, and since there was an oil pump in the vicinity, I replaced it as well.
Oil pump
The passage through which engine oil flows is the oil line, and the oil pump is the starting point of the oil line.
The →Oil pump is the heart of the engine, and if this part fails, the circulation of oil inside the engine will often fail.
What is the role of the oil pump?
Oil pump works to suck up and circulate oil to reduce friction between Transmission GEAR and Bearing.
It is a very important part, but it is also troublesome if it breaks.
It is the cause of life span and breakage,
Life of the Engine oilPump.
The service life of the engine oil pump is almost the same as that of the engine. 。 As with the Engine, the Engine oil must be changed with proper Timing in order for the Engine oilPump to work properly! 。
Cause of failure
If the engine oil replacement is neglected for a long period of time, the engine oil pump will fail, which will eventually cause the engine to fail.
What exactly happens?
If the oil does not circulate well in the Engine, the →.
The rotation of the crankshaft is transmitted to the GEAR attached to the splines to rotate the oil pump. 。 Oil is pumped from the inside by rotation. Therefore, if GEAR does not rotate due to damage to the splines, the oil pump will not operate. In other words, oil will not circulate inside the engine. 。 Oil does not rotate.
⇒ causes seizure.
In my case, I'm replacing it for the purpose of eliminating uncertainty, not failure, but the way to determine if it has failed.
Symptoms of malfunction
(1) White smoke rises.
(2) Spark plugs are covered.
(iii) Engine burn-in occurs.
Even if you think that the oil pump may be faulty, it is also a high hurdle for a beginner to disassemble it immediately to check if it is normal or not. 。
It may be simplified for this reason, but we will first inspect it as follows 。
Inspection Method
○ ○Idling the exhaust pipe and hold your hand over the exhaust pipe to see if Oil adheres to the pipe.
→ This is the easiest.
→I felt a little bit Oil-like (laughs).
Oil pumps are not often disassembled and repaired in a manner that is → difficult.
Therefore, it is better to replace the oil pump itself.
How to exchange.
(1) Remove the Oil.
↓
Remove the Crank Case Cover.
↓
Remove the oil pump.
There is a screw that holds the Oil Pump Gear in place, but since it is an integral part of the Oil Pump Gear, remove the Plus screw.
Screws are hard, so use a screwdriver to loosen the screws.
↓
Install the oil pump with new gears and tighten the screws.
↓
(5) Attach and tighten the Crank Case Cover and Gasket.
↓
(6) Insert new Oil. Done.
There is no particular effect, no Oil from the Exhaust System, no White Smoke, that seems to be the effect.
It is similar to the heart that pumps Oil into the Engine, or in humans, the heart that pumps blood into the body.

I think those who do maintenance will feel the benefit.
When you park a Motorcycle, you often say STAND, don't you?
There are Center Stand and Side Stand in STAND,
In this case, the Center Stand was rusted and I was worried about it, so I will replace it.
What is Center Stand?
The Center Stand is a stand that allows you to park your motorcycle in a more stable and upright position than the Side Stand. 。 It is useful for parking bicycles for long periods of time and for maintenance.
The Center Stand looks and feels firmer and heavier than the Side Stand, but what kind of merit or demerit does it have?
[Merit]
(1) Because the vehicle can be parked in an upright position, there is no burden on the tires during maintenance or when storing the motorcycle for a long period of time. 。 Indoors, where there is no wind influence, there is less Space for storage.
The motorcycle driven by the drive chain needs to be adjusted, checked, and lubricated on a daily basis. Especially when checking and adjusting the slackness of the chain, if you stand the motorcycle on the Center Stunt, you can do the work quickly without jack-up time or using special tools.
Center Stand can be said to be a STAND that can take the place of Jack. 。 Since the rear wheel is floating, puncture repair can be started simply by setting up the STAND. It is said that the rear wheel is the easiest to puncture in front and rear tires, and when the Center Stand is set up, the rear wheel floats, making it easy to find and repair punctures.
The work related to the rear wheel, such as adjustment or replacement of the rear suspension, replacement of the sprocket, and replacement of the drum brake shoes, can be done with or without the Center Stand, depending on whether or not the Center Stand is installed. In addition, it is very useful for bikers who want to maintain their motorcycles by themselves, such as oil replacement, oil filter replacement, and brake fluid replacement, because the chassis is standing straight.
If you look at it in terms of doing→maintenance, there's a lot of Merit, but there's also Demerit.
[Demerit]
If you use the Center Stand when strong winds are blowing in a typhoon, the motorcycle will be pushed by the wind and the tires will float, reducing the ground contact area and making it easier for the motorcycle to topple over. 。
The solution is to use the Side Stand instead of the Center Stand, which stabilizes the vehicle body by supporting the front wheel, Side Stand, and rear wheel at three points.
In my case, I put the GEAR in first gear with the + there and park it so the Tire doesn't move! 。
Installation method ~ESTRELLA~.
(1) Jack-up to float the body.
↓
(2) Spring with Cover, (It's fucking hard...)
↓
(3) Hang the Spring on the Body and hang it on the Motorcycle side.
↓
(4) Align the bolt holes and insert the driver into one of the holes. (Insert and tighten the Bolt while shaking the other hole with the bolt (to prevent gapping). 。
↓
Insert the pin.
The assembly itself was not difficult, but the springs were hard and it was very difficult to assemble.
■ After replacement
◎Maintainability has improved considerably 。
I feel that the weight of the STAND and the fact that the STAND is stored in the center of the car body may be contributing to the stability of the car body.
▲Bank angle is obviously reduced. → If you lean the vehicle too much to turn, it will rub.
However, I think that the increased maintainability is a major merit, since the vehicle is not an aggressive type of motorcycle.

Idling, replace if you are worried about starting.
Restore of ESTRELLA still ongoing.
We have done various things to improve the starting performance, such as a new cell starter and adjusting the carburetor, but we also wanted to make it even better, so we replaced the ignition coil.
I'm not complaining about some better starting and Idling, but I wanted to fix or replace the areas of concern while I'm at it.
What is Motorcycle's Ignition coil?
Ignition coil is a device that boosts the battery voltage to tens of thousands of volts required for the spark discharge of the ignition plug. 。
The Ignition coil consists of a primary coil and a secondary coil with different numbers of turns. The battery voltage causes the primary coil to generate a magnetic field, which in turn generates an induction voltage of several tens of thousands of volts in the secondary coil.
The role of the Ignition coil.
Ignition coil is one of the components to start the Engine, and is a device that generates very high voltage.
The engine cannot run without the ignition coil, which produces power by burning a gas mixture made by compressing the inhaled air and gasoline.
→Engine starting is important.
[What are the symptoms of Motorcycle Ignition coil failure?
When the Ignition coil fails.
When starting the Engine, not enough electricity may reach the Spark plug and sparks may not fly.
→ The fuel/air mixture is not combusted, so it is less likely to Engine 。
The same phenomenon may also occur while driving, causing the Engine RPM to become unstable, power down, or stall.
And Ignition coils also have a life span.
Although these parts are more durable over the long term, there is a time when they need to be replaced.
When should I replace the Ignition coil on my Motorcycle? As a general guideline, it is recommended to replace the Ignition coil at about 100,000 to 150,000 kilometers Meter or about 7 to 10 years. 。 However, this is only a general guideline and may vary depending on driving conditions and maintenance status.
→In my case, it's been more than 20 years since it was manufactured, so of course I'll replace it........................
Replacement procedure. 〜For ~ESTRELLA
(1) Turn off the Fuel Cock.
*To avoid loss of the tank as there is work to be done to remove it.
↓
(2) Remove the Tank.
↓
You can see what looks like a black motor on the frame where the tank would have been attached.
This is the Ignition coil.
↓
Remove the Ignition coil.
↓
Remove the Ignition coil and Plug cord. 。
↓
(6) Attach the plug cord you just removed to the new Ignition coil.
↓
? ?→? Assemble in this order and you are done.
■ After replacement
I don't know about acceleration, power, fuel economy, or anything like that, but what I did notice a change was the Idling! Before the replacement, the idling was going up and down a little. 。 But after the replacement, I don't feel that at all! Well, it's 90's Motorcycle.... It has deteriorated in many ways, so replacing it with a new one would seem to make a small change...! But the question is, won't Idling be lower on rainy days? But the problem is, won't the Idling be low on a rainy day?. We'll see how it goes there.
