What is Pilot Jet?
Pilot Jet Slow Jet. Or, IdolJet. also called 。
* This Jet is a lightweight fuel for the Pilot system.
Weighs the amount of fuel in low-speed operation from Idling 。 The larger the number, the larger the diameter and the thicker the mixture.
*Idling to low speed region.
The role of the Pilot Jet.
Pilot Jet is a throttle to control the amount of fuel supplied to the engine.
It is used for Idling and other low-speed Engine applications.
Why is it called Pilot or Throw?
Pilot→Mikuni carburetor
○Throw→Name in KEIHINcarburetor
Both work exactly the same.
Note, however, that they are not interchangeable since they are designed by different manufacturers.
Pilot Jet's number.
As with main jet etc., there is a number, and the higher the number, the darker the color.
■Number of the number Small→ thin
■■Number of the number Large→dense
The setting is done in the form of "Setting".

Case of Pilot Jet failure
(1) clogging

When it's stuck→.
Power is lost at low speeds.
▲RPM does not increase.
Idling is unstable.
▲After Fire comes out of Exhaust System.
The adverse effects of this are.
(2) Deficiency
...Actually, this Case is the Case I have decided to replace this time.
The brass-made screwdriver is soft and does not come off, so if you turn the screwdriver with strong force or try to tighten it too hard, it tends to lick the screwdriver. If you try to tighten the screwdriver too hard, it will lick easily. If you lick it, the size of the jet hole will change and you will not be able to use it. It will have to be replaced.
I think it is necessary to use a shorter driver as a countermeasure, and to apply force to the pinpoint and remove it while being conscious of the center of gravity being directly below.
How to exchange
(1) Gasoline is turned off
↓
(2) Remove Gasoline in the carburetor.
↓
Disconnect the Throttle Cable on the carburetor side.
↓
Loosen the bolt of the indicator (Rubber connecting the engine and the carburetor).
↓
(5) Remove the carburetor.
↓
(6) Loosen the Screw on the lower side of the carburetor and open it.
↓
(7) The Pilot Jet is located under the Main Jet, and the Driver is carefully turned so as not to lick it.
↓
(8) Turn the new Pilot Jet in slowly by hand at first, and then tighten it with the Driver to finish.
It is best if you feel a light resistance.

? Assemble in reverse order and put back together.
It is really soft and can easily be licked if you put too much force on it, so be careful. Also, there have been cases where a customer has forced the needle gold through to remove a blockage, causing the hole to widen in the opposite direction.

Purchased for a 12 year MODEL ninja 1000
This is the first time I have used this Drain Washer.
I used to use Drain Washer purchased from Motorcycle shop, but I bought it because I ran out of stock.
I don't think it's a problem since it's OEM, but just to be sure, check the area around the Drain Washer after test run after replacing the Oil.
It didn't leak, so it's Large sturdy.
OEMs are secure.

Genuine Kawasaki Sump plug Washer for KLE400 1998
The oil on this bike was due for a change and therefore, we also needed to source a new sump plug and also the washer that goes with it. It is always better to be safe than sorry so you don't have any leaks whilst changing. The part was not super hard to find by simply using the tools Webike provide on their hel pages and to be 100% sure, I also cross referenced with Kawasaki schematics. The price for the washer was really good value and added to the other parts in my order, the shipping worked out really cost efficient too. Shipped by EMS all arrived in 5 days. EMS are good value, very fast in delivering and better than some other couriers. All the items in my order were packed individually by Webike warehouse and all nicely padded out in the box so nothing could get damaged in transit. This washer came in the Kawasaki packaging and are really good quality. They are very well made and no tarnishing was found. The are only washers but as they are essentially crush washers, they are definitely needed. Fitted pretty easily and finished off this rebuild. No danger of a leaky sump plug now. There are external products, but they are inexpensive and OEM products, so they are safe.

A new Oil Filter was put in with the replacement of the Oil Filter.
It still seems to be more flexible than those used for over a year and a half.
After cleaning the grooves to be fitted into Beauty, a thin coat of silicon grease was applied to incorporate it.
We plan to incorporate a new one again at the next Filter replacement.

Based on past experience, Oil Filter is the only OEM choice.
This is the first time I have worked on replacing a filter on a GPZ900R.
It took some time, but it was completed successfully.
We are implementing this with a Cycle of 2 Oil changes and 1 Filter change.
