exchange
The parts that were outdated at the time of the overhaul of the front brake caliper are replaced.
Since it is a Rubber, it was deteriorated badly, so I replaced it with HondaOEM Product, which is the same as the installed product, but I thought the price was a little high.

Plug cracked.
First, let me say that this is a special case based on a combination of several conditions.
After cleaning the Caliper, I put it back together, tightened the pad pin, and was finishing up by tightening the plug when I heard a cracking sound. I thought the tool was broken, but it was not. As you can see, the wall of the plug had cracked from where it was thinning.
Now, the conditions at the beginning are as follows.
The Plug itself is thinly veiled.
The Plug is a type of car that is only half filled.
Over exertion of force
In other words, it ripped as if it was pushing the unrestrained wall from the outside. After pinching it off with the pliers, I decided to use the NORMAL plug, which fits better, because it was awkward to have the plug sticking out.
The Pad pin itself has no problems at all, with excellent texture and feel.

Watch out for the change in ride height!
I thought it was a spec. that you can choose either OEM Length or +1cm of Shock length, but it is not so. The result is a slight change in maneuverability and a slight worsening of footing and stability on the dirt, and the inclination of the side stand has become larger, so care is needed when standing on uneven terrain.
The OEM rear shocks do not have a DumpingAdjust function, and even if they were to be modified so that they could be disassembled, they are not designed to be disassembled, so it would be a hassle to have them modified. If you are considering purchasing a rear shock for the Bitubo XL600V, we recommend that you go for the other model number, which is labeled "no ride height adjustment".
However, for those who lift the Rear and aim for StyleUp, this might be better...?

I only change it once a year.
I only change Oil once a year and I change Filter every time.
There is nothing special to mention, but since it is an important part of a large motorcycle, I choose a reliable manufacturer's product to some extent. The most reliable parts are OEM parts.
I think it is important for this kind of Parts not to cause Trouble. In fact, we have had a case in which oil leaked from a filter in a company car and caused a trouble, so we must choose a solid product and follow the procedure when replacing it ourselves. It is important to always test drive the car to make sure there are no leaks.
For example, if you do not understand the reason for applying engine oil to the O-ring before assembly, we recommend that you work with someone who is familiar with the process.

Corrosion protection only
I've been sticking with the Tokico 6 pods. This time I adopted CaliperOverhaul and baked paint instead of OEM. I think it's a good corrosion protection. I've heard that some people use seal tape to prevent leaks, but I don't use seal tape because I have to loosen the Breeder repeatedly to keep the air out. I've had OEM jams in the past, but I'm not sure if it's because of the stainless steel. I'll have to wait and see. View detail
