Was the installation difficult?
The shaft was old and rusted, but the splines were intact and there was no rattle.
The installation itself is easy, but the Torque value for the Yamaha Nut is a frightening number, so it is quite scary when loosening and tightening.
How was your experience with it?
Although it has not been driven yet after replacement, there is no rattle with the shaft and of course the chain is perfectly aligned with the shaft. Of course, the fit with the chain is also perfect.

Change of GEAR ratio

For Driveline Restore

SUNSTAR's Sprocket is accurate.

Change from OEM
I received it yesterday. I installed it this morning. I noticed that the original OEM Product had become very thin, and the play in the chain was also due to the thin Sprocket. I replaced it with a new one and tried to turn it with the chain on, and it turned smoother than I expected. Also, it is now totally silent. I should have changed it sooner! I can't say anything about it because I haven't driven it yet, but with the current GEAR ratio, I need a little more acceleration between 2nd and 3rd gears, and when I go up to 3rd gear, the Speed is too much. Spline is common and can be physically fitted.
However, since the thickness of the splines are different, the splines on the Counter Shaft side end and the Sprocket are now on the same side.
Therefore, there is no Space to install an OEM anti-rotation washer.
We have considered operating without a turnstile washer, but would like to avoid it because it is also used for city driving.
After much research, I found that apparently the original fitment of the vehicle has a different shape for the anti-turn Washer and Nut than the Zr-7S.
In the case of the Zr-7S, a splined washer is also cut into the detent washer, but the Z750FX, for example, does not have a splined washer, but instead fits into a hole in the sprocket.
Sprocket nuts also differed in opposite dimensions.
Therefore, when replacing with a SprocketSingle Body, it is not recommended, although it can be physically attached. However, if you are replacing the Sprocket nut and washer together, you should be able to use them without any problem.
The Z-type sprocket nut seems to loosen easily, so it may be a good idea to check it periodically.
