Both OralCare and MotorcycleCare are SUNSTAR?.
*Motivation to purchase
○ I'm not sure I'm ready for the exchange yet." but when replacing the ZETA Drive cover, I noticed that it was worn out and decided to replace it.
Installation
zIn this case, we exchanged Driven/Driven Sprocket and Chain together, so the whole process was more time-consuming than Single Item exchange.
0First, the Rear wheel was removed.
● The Nut on the Driven Sprocket was loose this time, and I was able to loosen it by hand without using the Brake.
● I usually set GEAR in 2nd gear, stand on my own with Side Stand, and step on the Rear brake to loosen/tighten it.
Loosen the nut securing the 0Driven Sprocket and remove the Washer together.
0Driven Sprocket can be removed by shifting it slightly and Sliding it off the Chain.
0Follow the reverse procedure to set up NEWSprocket and you are done.
*Feelings after use
0We are visually seeing the worn condition, so the new replacement gave us peace of mind.
0It seemed like the sound became quieter.
I can now operate the clutch with the log/stiretc. with a sense of security.
Practicing at 0Course and using it in Enduro, I thought it would be better to replace it after about 800 km.

Changed to 14→13
I installed it on my ZX25R at Circuit where I often go.
I cut off the dandruff and it wasn't much use, so I threw a shuriken instead.
It flies in an interesting way.
I thought maybe the original usage was this way.

15T Front sprocket (SUNSTAR)
Changed from standard CB250R Sprocket to 15T.
The change was made because there was not as much first gear extension as expected and because it would soften the embrittlement.
It was not as effective as expected, but there is a sense of improvement.
The HappyMeter error of the speedometer has also been reduced, and it feels closer to the actual speed.
The replacement work was planned to be done by himself, but was carried out by Shop due to other consultations.
As a result, I am glad I asked for help. If I had done the work by myself, I would have had a hard time fitting the Chain Guard, etc.

520 for Conversion on the 2021 MT-09SP.
After cleaning the Chain, I forgot to apply lube and the Chain rusted, so I did a 520Conversion while I was at it.
The Sprocket on the Front side seems to be the same for R1 and older models, and we selected 16, the same number as the OEM.
To remove the front side Sprocket, you will probably need an incredibly long Spinner or a quick Impact wrench, as it is coated with a generous amount of Screw Lock all around, in addition to the Torque160N tightening.
We used the Impact wrench to loosen it, but there were too many screw locks, even though the nut usually turns by hand after loosening, so we used the Impact until the nut was removed.
The OEMSprocket that was removed had both sides sandwiched between rubber to prevent acceleration noise, and it looked as if it might cause friction.
Since it is 520 from 525, I thought there would not be that much difference in Size, but when I put them side by side, the width seems to be surprisingly Slim.
Impressions after the replacement include Chain and Rear Sprocket, but I clearly felt a decrease in Friction.
First of all, when starting off and driving at low speed for a pause, it seems to move forward unexpectedly when trying to stop with the conventional embrace consideration.
Furthermore, it is an uphill, but I feel like I can go one GEAR higher than before (4th gear if I am in 3rd gear).
As for the Demerit, the noise of the Chain will be a little louder and the durability may be reduced since it is 525→520.
However, the lightness of the system is more than worth it, and we will try to make it last as long as possible with frequent maintenance.

I was relieved when I opened the package as it seemed to be compatible with both.

ESTRELLA has a 16T Recommendation
[How is it used?
I wanted to make ESTRELLA's Final longer, but the Rear Sprocket, including the Other Brand Product, only has the OEM number of pins, and only SUNSTAR has a 16T Front sprocket, which is longer than the OEM. One Front sprocket has about three times the change of the Rear sprocket, but I wanted to make the Final longer anyway, so I tried the Front 16T.
Was the one you received as per Image?
The product was as per Image, as I have used made in sunstar Sprocket for other vehicles.
It will be a Black Sprocket made by Chromoly, but it has been carefully processed and is expected to be durable.
Was the installation difficult?
Quantity with Rear Sprocket and Chain this time.:The replacement was a set of 3-items, but if you only need to replace the front, you can remove it if you have 27 sockets. However, removing the Washer Crimp and the Nut itself is quite large, and even with the Rear brake in 1st gear, I could not remove it by hand, so I borrowed an Impact to do it.
How was your experience with it?
The driving has drastically changed after changing to Front16T. Basically, I commute down the main road, so it is good if I can drive comfortably in the range of about 60 km/h. However, with the Number of teeth on the OEM, I felt that the RPM was too high even when cruising at 60 km/h, or that I needed one more speed. The 16T has reduced the RPMs when cruising in 5th gear, which improves fuel efficiency, reduces vibration, and reduces fatigue.
If I had to say something negative, I would say that the Torque feel has faded with the longer speed, so when re-accelerating after deceleration, the GEAR is still the same and just opening the throttle is not enough to make it lean. If you drop one gear, there is no problem at all.

A shadowy powerhouse!
Since it is not usually visible, the change does not change the appearance of the parts much, but it is a large part!
If you are thinking of changing the acceleration or top speed settings, you can cosmetically change the number of hits on these Parts!

conformance check
CB1100, used in 11 years
When we changed the standard 18 to 19, we were told that the Chain hit the Case, so we had it shaved to accommodate.
Please note that this was a compatible car model, so if you are the same as us, please be careful.
The OEM speed was 60Km at 2000 RPM, but with this product and 2 less on the Rear side (37), the speed was 68Km at 2000 RPM, which was quite effective.
I am satisfied because it runs well enough and I can expect it in fuel consumption etc., although the bottom is weakened.

Very good!
First to third gear blows up quickly in city driving, and Gear changing is busy and
Tandem touring with my 8 year old son, because of the strong embrace when I put the Axel back on.
I replaced it with a new one because I often stumbled backwards.
The result is a wider Range for each GEAR and much less Gear changing.
Embellishments are much lessened and it is now moderately Smooth.
There is almost no feeling of slowing down the acceleration, but on the contrary, it feels good to be able to pull and drive.
I've only driven it up to about 80 km, so I don't know about cruising above that or at higher speeds.
I think it will be no problem at all for city driving and downhill touring, or it will be easier.
This is just an impression at a sensible speed and driving, not at the full throttle of Axel or attacking Corner… (Lol)

Well, it's normal.
It is the same as the OEM one, so I was able to put it on with no problem.
On some motorcycles, the bolt that is removed by the 6mm Hexagonal Wrench that holds the 36mm Nut and Speed sensor may be too hard to remove and you may have to give up.

Replaced by drivetrain Total
This is a simultaneous replacement of the front and rear Sprocket and Chain.
I think most people replace these three items at the same time, so please refer to this page.
Since it is a FrontSprocket, the appearance and weight may not be much different from OEM, but since it is made in Sunstar, there will be some Advantage.
Durability will be as outstanding as OEM since it is made of steel.
I did the replacement myself, but I thought Impact was essential for removing the old Sprocket on my model of car.
It is tightened with so much Torque that it cannot be managed by human power.
If you are not confident, it is safe to ask Shop.
And don't forget to order an OEM Parts anti-looseness washer.
This is basically non-reusable, so prepare a new one.

Expecting better fuel economy when touring!
My impression after installation is that there is little difference in fuel consumption, acceleration/deceleration, etc. in town.
I haven't gone on any long-distance Touring trips yet.
I am looking forward to seeing how much it will affect fuel economy when touring since it is now about 200 to 300 rpm lower in the same speed range as before.
