Inner baffle installation instructions
Available in spring joint type.
It is attached between the silencer and the tail pipe.
Also, the inner baffle stopper (larger part) on the tail pipe end
prevents it from falling in.
We have three types of products for Φ60, Φ54 and Φ50.
This is the outer diameter of the tail pipe
It has a clearance of -3mm
For Φ60, the part that goes inside has a thickness of Φ57.
The outer diameter of the stopper part (length 3mm) is Φ60.
(The part that goes inside for Φ54/Φ50 is also the same Φ3mm less)
*The tail pipe refers to the pipe between the merge collector and the silencer.
*The joint between the tail pipe and the silencer is not always a perfect circle.
*The inside diameter of the inlet on the silencer side varies from manufacturer to manufacturer.
*For flange type joint (plate & bolted),
in some cases, the baffle stopper cannot be inserted and so it cannot be installed.
*In cases where the joint is secured using a band, similar to KERKER megaphones,
there might be instances where the baffle stopper cannot be inserted and installation becomes impossible.
Note
W wall type is for the tail pipe which does not have a bend just before the joining part with silencer.
