After eight months from the debut of the GPz400, it was converted into version F. It had a new intake/exhaust system, such as its carburetor, and raised its power by 3PS. The Kawasaki emblem on its exhaust was also taken off.
It had converted the engine of the Z400GP into short stroke, to raise its power by 3 horsepower. It also had an appealing anti-dive fork and a cowling.
