[Learn from MotoGP] How Much Riding Style Will Evolve?
I've found an interesting article about the transition of the riding style at the MotoGP nowadays. I would like to make review comments on this topic subjectively, tracing back my memories. -
SUZUKI CHOINORI
It was the ultra cheap edition scooter that mounted an OHV3 valve single cylinder engine that adopted the newly designed plated cylinder. Its dry weight was only 39kg. -
YAMAHA SRV250/S
It had a V2 engine on its 250cc VIRAGO based body. The minor change model had a 10mm thicker seat. The S model had a rear shock absorber with a sub tank and a lowered handlebar. -
YAMAHA SRV250
It was a neo-retro style sport bike that created a mood of a British motorcycle. Its parts design and finishing were exquisite. Its engine appearance was also changed from VIRAGO style. -
HONDA SILK ROAD
It was a trekking bike that was equipped with a single seat and a large rear carrier. It was could be rode on rugged roads with its 5-speed & super low gear. It also came with a self starter. -
HONDA SL250S
It was the first HONDA 250cc trail model. Though it was rare enough to adopt an OHC engine in those days, it even adopted 4-valve. -
YAMAHA RENAISSA
It had the same basic structure as the SRV with an air-cooled V-twin engine. The color could be selected from its ten options. -
SUZUKI VOLTY Type I/II
It was a basic and simple lightweight single sport model. It mounted a trusting 250cc air-cooled OHC single-cylinder engine that derived from the former DR250 and was being remodeled. -
YAMAHA MAXAM
It was designed to become the "best double-seated urban cruiser". It was a unique model that pursed delicate design and comfort of a double seater. -
SUZUKI MARAUDER 250/125
It was a classically designed model with a 16-inch front wheel and a 15-inch rear wheel that came with deep-style fenders. It adopted a VOLTY type OHC 4-valve engine.
