Former GP World Champion Kevin Schwantz will visit Japan for the 40th anniversary of Suzuka 8 Hours!

The Suzuka Circuit announced that Kevin Schwantz, who won the 500cc World Championship in 1993 with his Suzuki RGV500 will visit to the 40th Memorial “Coca-Cola” Suzuka 8 hours Endurance Race of the 2016-2017 FIM EWC final Round that will be held on July 27th (Thu)-30th (Sun) 2017.

In particular, he won at Suzuka for the first time in his GP500 career. He competed in all eight races claiming five victories and two podiums.

During his visit in Japan, talk show will be organized at Suzuki’s event booth, mainly on Saturdays and Sundays. Kevin Schwantz will also actively participate in the event with the all new GSX-R1000.
