The custom chopper VT1300CX (US name: FURY), which had been gaining popularity among the young generations since its debut of April 2009 (for the European market), had been brought to the Japanese market. Its frame style was bold, unlike an ordinary manufacturer design, and it was different from its series model CS or CR. Its high neck position and its mainpipe that stretched toward the lower seat were unique. The space above the front cylinder was also distinctive, and the wires around the neck were carefully placed to emphasize that style. It had the VTX1300 type water-cooled OHC 3-valve 52-degrees V-twin engine that generated 54PS maximum output. Its long stroke setting (89.5mmx104.3mm) and its PGM-FI created the smooth beating blow-up and a fine throttle response suitable for a big cruiser motorcycle. It adopted a floating final gear (first bike to adopt one) and a swing arm pivot to reduce the uncomfortable vibration.
